The first issue of the journal Music and Arts in Action (which was launched by the SocArts group at Exeter) has had it's first issue out.You can access the articles at http://musicandartsinaction.net. This issue features a range of articles about White Power music, drama as social intervention, music therapy, visual arts and sustainability, and a theoretical look at the future of music sociology.

 SocArts would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody who have supported this venture, which has now had a very successful start.
